'My times are in Your hand'

Asked GOD for a word to refresh and revive me today. He showed me John 7:1-9. Today is also the third time in 3 months God is showing me the word in psalm 31:15:

"But as for me, I trust in You O Lord;
I say, 'You are my God'.
My times are in Your hand"

John 7:1-9 is about our Lord Jesus' response to His brothers who disbelieved him and tried to force him prematurely into what was ultimately God's plan for his life. Had Jesus not walked in the will, times and seasons of the Father for His life, there would have been a 'miscarriage' of God's redemptive plan!

I learned a new perspective today. Just as Jesus' hour came in life, so our hour shall surely come. But what are we to expect when the peak of our hour come?

When Jesus 'knew that his hour had come' (John 13:1-17), He did not sit on a throne to enjoy being served by humanity, as his followers wanted. Instead, He went on his knees, washing his disciples' feet.

I learn this: the nearer we approach our hour - even in the height of our hour - the more our life will consist of servitude. The more we will live to give. The more we will wash feet, even the feet of our betrayers!

THE PEAK OF OUR HOUR IS THE PEAK OF OUR SERVITUDE!

God help us to with His abundant GRACE to live this hour...
